os 2050 pipe
« on: April 25, 2009, 09:06:26 AM »
The pressure nozzle(where the fuel line connects to on the pipe) has been broken off then repaired on my os 2050 pipe, the repair recently got a crack in it so i jb welded  the crack and let it dry over night. Im noticing now that its pretty hard to get air through that nozzle(if i put a piece of fuel line on it and try to blow/suck its fairly hard to get flow, and even then its minimal) Im guessing my repair didn't cause this but the original might have clogged the nozzle. Basically is it suppost to be like this? Or could this be the cause of my flame out problems

That definitely can cause flame out problems if the nipple is clogged.  You may want to see if you can clear it with some wire or you may have to remove it and put a new nipple on. You may also maybe want to boil the pipe in anti freeze on high for 5-6 hrs in a crock pot to clean up the pipe inside and out. I've also heard that CLR will work if you put the pipe in a sealed container with it for 3-4 hrs.

BTW, you did get your parts I take it. Also did you send back the other servo.

thanks....Don  |  In The Pits  |  Nitro talk  |  os 2050 pipe
