Hey everyone. New to the forum here and relatively new to the rc world. I was wondering if there are any crawler clubs that are still active. I only have time to use the crawler on weekends so I am looking to get out and meet some new people and hit the trails. Looking forward to meeting some of you on the trails!

Hey there
do you have a true crawler or a scale truck?
either way the LMRCC  is still very active.

If you look in the on the rocks section you will see the comp dates for both scale and crawler.
Here is a link to the crawler dates-

All comps are on sundays and 99% of the time up at Ioco in Port Moody.

Also you can find a group of guys up there almost every sunday

Thanks for the info. I saw the competition dates in the on the rocks section. Just want to go and hit some trails and learn more about upgrades and general rc stuff for now. I have been to ioco 3 or 4 times now and only met one other guy with a crawler (steelhead from this forum was who I met) so not sure if I have been going to the right spot or not. I have been going to the power lines at the left turn before the gate to the belcarra picnic area. I live in langley so would be nice to find somewhere closer to home as well for a little crawling action. Only other place I know of is stokes pit at 192 and 28 in langley.

The car that I have for a crawler is a wraith with a few upgrades but nothing major (steering servo, 45t tekin motor, etc.) I will head out to belcarra again this weekend on Sunday if it isn't pissing rain where the gate for the trials mx is. Hope to see someone out there.

Yep, that's the area. The road to the thermal plant.
You should see some cars parked on the right hand side of that road with major rocks on the left. That's the normal spot for everyone to gather. Most are there by 10 or 11. I think a lot of guys went up on Sat last weekend, but usually Sunday is the day.
