also if you're a basher i'd recommend the 5B.. the 5T or 5SC bodies are expensive and if you bash you'll break them easy enough.. 5B's hardly ever get destroyed bodies and even if they do they're like 1/4 the cost..

well, being an impulse introduction/buy to 5 scale.
decided can't spend too much. losi will have to wait for summer.
so i got me a nutech sandstorm plus an fg beetle shell for it.
and there's a long list of mods to be done.
hoping you guys will continue to chime in.
lastly, THANK y'all for the inputs and the insights.
should be here by monday. :) yoohooo!
again, thank you.

I think you'll be happy with the nutech. The are a really well made vehicle and very dependable. in all the time I owned mine, I broke a pull start rope and a clutchbell.... had the odd screw come loose too but that's just common to all rc's... ask Moo, my Thunderbolt 2 did very well on his track ;)

too bad the in'stock beetle shell wouldn't fit my truck.
but i have the patience to wait for another two weeks for a mountable one.
exhaust upgrade made the top list of the mods-to-do.
it's been shippd out today! :)
