I have been using a friends set of turnigy nanotech 4000mah 3s lipos in my e-revo and got a good 45 minutes of run time up sand hills. Am quite happy with them just may have to get a set for myself.

Maybe you ended up with a bad batch.

yeah, that's quite possible.  I might try them again in the future, larger packs the next time.
