Unfortunately I'm up the coast at the in laws this weekend.
Would love to get something in before the rain comes though.
I'd be willing to get a few cheap garden hoses or other track gear.
Just post up when you guys try to run again.

we went out today and bought some track equipment. have 8 small cones, 12 soccer dots, and a whole pile of neon pink rope. stands out a whole lot better than black and green hoses.

anyone gonna come out tomorrow?

barry had the same issue with his f1, they come with hard compound tires for whatever reason. they are for somewhere around 120*f or higher track temps, today we were around 80. the parking lot we run requires soft tires, softer the better. i know what your going through, i had the same thing when i started in large scale, i figured if i can run medium to hard on a 1/10 scale why cant i do the same with a 1/5 scale? took a long time before i figured that one out. some softer tires and practice and you will be turning fast laps with that thing.

really enjoyed the day, ive missed doing that all summer.

ive actually been told the f1 is a more predictable and easier to drive car. never having driven one, i cant confirm this though. what i do know is you have a longer wheelbase and tires that are far wider than a touring car.

1/5 scale onroad is a tough class of car to drive, it just takes a lot of practice. well, that and soft tires.

oh btw you forgot to take your cones when you left.
