Do these trannys actually give u more speed? Or just lower starting gears? Thx guys

Depends how you look at it.  Adding a 2spd lets you run the highest ratio top gear so it should be faster than a car with a single speed where usually you have to be more conservative with the gearing so it doesn't bog on the bottom end.  If you have a torque monster motor though and can make use of the top ratio anyway, the car might be quicker but top end should be the same (potentially better due to less rotating mass, blah blah blah)

And honestly, my stock 26cc SS has plenty of top end.  Much more and it would be downright scary to drive considering the so-so brakes the Baja has.   A good tuned pipe IMO should be all the extra most people can deal with.

i am very impessed with all the bottom end this 30.5cc stroker has. its fast, i was just wondering what to blow money on next. just orderd the super bee fail safe, there is 2 much water in chilliwack and i would hate to see $2500 in the drink never to be seen again.

Have a 2 speed on one of my baja's way to fast to hold it Pineda for to long was a bitch to set up to have 6 1/5 th scales now have a brand new  fg 4x4 that will spank any 1/5 scale out there have a  sc 4 wheel drive 1/5 th scale as well

^ Nice.  First 1/5th I ever saw was an FG 2wd Monster.  I had no idea who FG was but it made my SavageX look tiny  ;D

I'd love to get one but for cost and how much I drive them it's just not practical.

bring it to my track this saturday, having a meeting starting at 9am..i've a hurrax toxyc here that eats fg's for breakfast 8)  (round the track...i'll give you top speed, we clocked an fg baja4x4 with a old 2 bolt 28.5 and dom,stock gearing at 48.6mph...rocket ship and steers like one too...rocket that is...not too good)
