Ha ha! I worked on it last night. Spent about two hours going over it and making it ready for Sunday. Heck I even burnt up a few batteries on the practice pile.

I will be at it again tonight doing a few more things. I am very happy with how it is all working. Can't wait to get out and Comp!

As for the drifting... Get one dude! Lots of fun and I find it helps with throttle control when I am crawling. The car Jeff is selling would be a great starting point. Go for it!

I had some bad news and good news come my way. Dominator (Jeff) has decided to get out of the RC world. He had already ditched his crawler and now he has ditched all his Drifters. I am sad to see him go. I really enjoyed playing around with him at BC Place.

The good news? Well my other drift buddy from BC Place (Nick) bought all of Jeff's stuff. A big haul that encluded 3 cars and a ton of "stuff". Long story short.... Nick sold me a Losi Drift R ( on a payment plan).Ha ha! And we all know how much I love my Losi products!

I just downloaded the manual and picked up the rig. I am working till 20:00 then I might get a chance to mess around with it. It was a " one way" out front and looks like it is all set-up foursome drifting fun.

Just what I need. Another toy....

I would have loved to have gotten the Sakura but cash is tight so I brokered the deal with a friend. Ha ha! I figure I can always get it later....

In the mean time I got a "new to me" toy so I am all good....

You need to start somewhere. With a one-way up front and im assuming a locked rear, you can get sideways real nice

Grabbed it this morning and have had no time to really look it over. It is all there except a motor and pinion gear. I will swap a few things out like the JR TX and RX. I am a Spektum guy. Ha ha! The Traxas ESC will be replaced with a Sidewinder that I have laying around. I have a few motors kicking around too. For now I think a cheap Axial 20 turn may end up in it. ( it is nice to have a pile of gear on hand)

As for running it? Well maybe next week I can find some time. I have a Crawler Comp on Sunday the work starts getting busy. Fri and Sat I head off to Vernon to attend a wedding ( joy! I hate social events like this...) I am thinking I might make Afro's on the 19. I would love to try it out and I am looking forward to meeting some like minded RC Drifter geeks.... Ha ha! Untill then I have a lot of time to give the new car some love.

The sakura is running the locked front. The one way for it is within the stuff. Tell nick to look for the pink diff with two zip ties holding in the sides.

I will buddy! He is a little overwhelmed with all the new stuff he got from you. He was telling a co-worker he was going to run rings around me with all the practice and new stuff he has.....

Ha ha! Why does everyone always get so competitive when I am involved? I bring out the worst in people? Maybe? But the way I look at it he just has two new cars to run into me.

Well I had a day off work yesterday (canceled call so I got paid 4 hours anyway) an guess what I did? Yup built up my Losi Drift R. Switched up all the electronics to 3s capable stuff. Even had a Losi can motor sitting around....

Then my buddy WTFox came but with his latest purchase. A TC4 that he wants to set up for drifting. Well after I lent him an RX, ESC, motor 27t, servo, tires and wheels he is now "in the game". He is running on 2s so it is a little slow but I know that will change....

All and all a great day off. Oh, and I ran the Losi... awesome! It is now my primary rig. My TC3 is my back up for now.

I have a few 1300, 1000 and 800 mah 3c Lipo batteries for my crawler. I just slip them in and play. I suppose I should get some 2c hard packs but I have been lazy. Ha ha! I understand you guys all run 2c in your comp's and also have an engine size rule. For now I will run what I have.
