It will be a couple of days away with this rain, and the fact that I just received 20 trucks in today.

Let me look at what we have to work with and I'll get some track time organized.

Sommmabich, who put that gate there?

Thursday looking good weather wise. After work I will be calking out another track in my driveway. I put about two hours in last night drifting and playing with my MSCT.

Of course I have other things I should be doing but some times you just have to say "screw it!" and just get in some quality at time.... Game on! Once it is to dark to drift or starts raining I will be wrenching on the crawler. Time is fleeting ....  I feel a time warp coming on...

Well after seeing Matt's car drive so nice with the long travel soft squishy suspension on his I did a few mods to the sprint. Got the dremal out and started removing material from the skid pan, control arms and knuckles. Got the losi mini comp shocks in and started messing with travel. So from this point it has about 1 1/4 inch of travel of soft suspension. Seems to work real well. Need to just work out soft slight binding/hang ups and it will work real nice. Dips and rolls and transfers weight real nice now. Who says that you have to have  a 5 mm ride height. As it sits right now have a 1/2 in the rear and maybe 1/4-3/8 in the front and works great on a small tight course. Of course more drive time would be gear but not all if us can push 4-6 batteries a night. Dialed in the drag break to 40% and feels just right when you let off the trigger and work the one way allows for smooth transitions in and out of corners.

Anyways ill stop babbling now. Just thought I would let ya know what I been up to.

Rick that sounds awesome. Matt's TC4 is set up ass a Rally Car but as we all saw it is more than capable as a drifter. For paved lots like Brett's or my driveway a set up like his , and yours, might be the way to go. I may set up one of my Losi XXXS chassis the same way.

What are the Mini Losi shocks worth? What is their length?

They were around 35$ for the set and 3$ a pair for springs don't have a length with me but I will check into it and get back to ya after work. Seems to be working pretty good so far may need to play with oils and weights and get we dialed in a bit more but all in all pretty happy the way it's going. Oh yeah and needed to get the 4.3mm pivot ball studs set for the shocks to as they don't come with and for the top and at the bottom of the shock shaft the have a tiny little ball with 2-2.5 mm hole for same hardwares yeah ill take some pics tonight after work to show y'all's
