Well I found some tint today. Big thanks to Burnaby Hobbies on Rumble. I have never been there before so I was like a kid in a candy store. I was eying up some very cool tools and feel lucky to have made it out of there having only spent $21 for paints. I will be back though. And for those of you that have never been there I will say this. They have a large selection of Tamiya paints. The staff are very friendly ( well the dog did bark at me). Nice old school hobby store. I have driven by it for I would guess 20 years and can't believe I have never stopped in.....

I'm at work right now closing the roof at BC Place. When I get home tonight I'll mask and paint the windows. I'll post up some pictures later.....

Thanks bud
16?  :o
Running 12 lights right now

hahaha, the funny thing is it doesnt overyly feel like it has too many. I have 2 white headlights, 4 amber markers (2 front/2back), 2 red brake lights. 2 white reverse. And to top it all off the underglow will have 8 white lights (right now its short 2) Then ill be all done. I think 18 LED's with a servo actuated hood will be enough draw lol

Wow! That's some serious bling! I am running 8 at the most and I thought that was to much....

So I sprayed the tint last night. It looks like crap. I made sure it was clean and dusted it off but somehow I got a ton of dust in it. I think when I used the blow dryer on it it was loaded with dust. Live and learn. The next one will not be like this....

That looks crazy. And I like the hood action you have going on. Did you do up a scale motor as well?

No I like the fact that its got the actual motor up front. Maybe eventually bling it out.

So is it up and running yet ? When are you heading to Afro's?

I think I am about ready to make an appearance. The few guys I have been running with are AWOL as of late. You know the story...life gets in the way of your RC fun. I figure I'll hit up Afro's soon and see where that takes me. I would guess that they are all the hard core drifters. I could use some focus.  All my cars are 50/50 but I am getting good at throwing them around a track. Maybe a CS in my future....

I just happen to have this Wednesday night off. No time like the present.... Guess I'll be going to Afro's then. Hope to see you there.

Any of the Crawler crowd into an Afro's night on Wednesday? I bet we learn a ton from the crew there. Just saying....

Update: Work has me unable to attend tonight. I will make it out as soon as I can find some free time.....

Nice. I bought that same Tamiya kit with the inter cooler and rotors. Ha ha! I drilled out all the little holes on the rotors. Not perfect but it brings them to life. I have been messing around with some scale details on all my cars. Having three makes it hard to spread the love.....around

I feel ya, This car is the favorite as of yet, so she gets all the special goodies. As a hardbody it came with wipers and mirrors and the like, so I have the rusty 240z body that I can probably put the rest on.
