The easiest thing I have found is to remove the plug and feed a short piece of string into the hole,it will coil up inside,make sure the piston is only down a 1/2" or so so it does not feed into a port,I have seen holes put in the top of pistons(lawnmowers dirtbikes) using a metal stop..

Ya I thought about the string trick I'm just concerned with some pieces braking off
