it'll be nice to do vids without it spinning out every second lap lol. these tires will take me a month to put together. I was trying last night to get a tire on the rim. wow. some of the hardest tires to mount I have ever tried. now I remember why I always buy pre glued

Well I got one rear tire on the rim to be glued. finally found a way to get them on. vaseline on the insert then clean it off the tire and rim grooves.

These tires have a wider side kind of like an SC truck but you have grooves in 3 places to glue the tire on the rim. the insert is tight. even after I got it on I had a helluva time getting that last 1/4 inch over to be even inside. I'll get some ca in the morning to get them glued. I'll mount them tonight and clean the vaseline out with alcohol. fronts should be easier to mount up.

I finally got those tires mounted and glued. I'll pay someone to do it next time if I can't find pre mounts. it took me most of the day to get them on. my hands are sore, my thumbs are swollen lol. I hated gluing tires before. Now I vow to never glue tires again. I'll pay hobbytek's shipping costs if I have to and don't care if the rims are grey or black... there are 3 beads to glue on the rears. fronts had 2 but had to glue in a ring on front..

and my stock tires on the tb2. have to go back to the stock wheel squares to use them so there's enough axle sticking out

I have found Vaseline to have a negative effect on things made of rubber. I find silicone spray or rubber grease works good. Was cleaning the Vaseline out fairly easy?

I use the right size fasteners and know how to use c- clips. I don't over tighten fasteners and I know what loctite is. I also use lubricants and rust inhibitors.
