Will a velineon motor and 100A esc work on an emaxx. I might run it on 3s or even 2 2s packs. I'm just woried about cooking the motor.

The motor says 3S but I've heard of it being run on 4S. I've seen VXL emaxxs they work alright.

I use the right size fasteners and know how to use c- clips. I don't over tighten fasteners and I know what loctite is. I also use lubricants and rust inhibitors.

I had it on 17 teeth for my HV Maxx bl system. For the VXL I would gear as low as possible, this will give 20 minutes or more before heat builds up. Enjoy the truck it's got all the nice goodies on it. Handles nice too. |

I picked up a new 2200kv mamba monster combo for the single speed plastic chassis truck. Running it with an 18t pinion. It rips pretty good on 4s. I tried 6s for abit but my yard isn't big enough..LOL

i have run a velineon motor on 6s in a buggy, ran a little hot, but couldnt kill it.
