My goal with the track is to be able to give the racers in the GVRD exactly what they need a place to practice and race. As a whole we have some of the fastest racers in Western Canada, they all got to that level with hard work dedication and PRACTICE. As someone that has been involved in this hobby since the age of 12 I want to try my best to give back to the R/C community. The focus of the track is to be a friendly enviroment where everyone together can race, learn and advance there skills.

I have tried to put together a race package that is attractive and offers a value point of view, In order to make this work we will need volunteers and support from all racers in the GVRD.

I am looking forward to hearing comments and answering any questions you might have about the venue and programs offered.

See you at the race

Great job on an indoor track!  I'm bummed that, since my boy has hockey every Sunday from 11-12, I won't be making the races but I'll come check it out!

Not sure why that Google map doesn't work, It works on the original post I did on R/C Tech. I have edited it out of the original post.

It is in the industrial park, on Mission Way. I will give the exact address when we are in the building. ( hopefully this week)

Good news and bad news.

The bad..we are going to have to re name the club

The good... We are moving to a new more central location in abbotsford right off the #1 hwy.

This morning the landlord notified me he was having issues with the tentent and it would not be ready as planned. Rather then wait or postpone I decided to move the venue.

A special thanks to my good friends at 360 custom car for giving us the lease of there warehouse for this season. 360 just built a new 22000sf facility for there needs and had there old warehouses for lease. We will be in the larger bays which will be perfect for our club.

We will be moving in oct 1 and promptly setting up the track.

Everything in the original post remains the same except for the location.

After checking it out, I am super pumped.... I think with this location being right off the hwy it will make it much easier for all racers to get to the track.

How does 360 raceway sound?

Oct 10 will be our 1st race date (Sunday) practice on wed the 13th and Friday the 15 in preparation for the Big Chill hosted by OGR on the 16th and 17th.
