Pull cord problem

well i just got a custom HPI moded savage anyway the pull cord broke so i bought another one and the not come which is a guess fine cause i can fix it easily but is there anyway i could keep it from slipping out

The knot came undone?  After you re-tie it, put a drop or two of CA on the knot and let it dry.
